Ozon Platform Updates
Ozon's press service confirmed its Ufa logistics facility was hit by drones overnight on Aug 27; all staff were evacuated, with no casualties and no fire. The Ufa complex suffered 'minor damage' and is closed — the company has paused seller deliveries to the site, redirecting in-transit goods to other warehouses, while customer ordering is unaffected. The same night, a missile threat was declared in Orenburg region and Ozon evacuated all staff at its local facility; the company said the Orenburg site has resumed operations. Per RBC, Ozon warehouses have been struck repeatedly since the second half of August: Samara region (Aug 22), Orenburg region (Aug 23), Makhachkala, Krasnodar and Adygea (Aug 24); Wildberries warehouses have been hit since mid-July across more than ten regions.
Wildberries Updates
Tambov region governor Yevgeny Pervyshov said the fire following the overnight Aug 26 attack completely destroyed Wildberries' logistics centre in Kotovsk — the facility's second strike. On Aug 27 the Russian government approved the Finance Ministry's support package for affected sellers: legal entities and sole proprietors whose losses exceed 5% of annual income get a 12-month deferral on VAT, profit tax, simplified-regime (USN/AUSN) taxes, insurance contributions and advance payments falling due between August 2026 and July 2027, followed by equal instalments over the following year; for the RWB group itself, payment deadlines shift to July 28, 2027; a moratorium on tax audits runs until year-end and statutory deadlines for debt-collection notices are extended by six months.
Local-Currency Settlement & Payments
The Central Bank of Russia's official rates set on Aug 27, 2026 and effective Aug 28: CNY 1 = RUB 12.7691, up RUB 0.2397 (+1.91%) versus the previous effective day (12.5294 on Aug 27), breaking above 12.7; USD 1 = RUB 85.9541; EUR 1 = RUB 100.2998. For Chinese sellers procuring in yuan and collecting revenue in roubles, a stronger yuan means less yuan per unit of rouble revenue — the profit model needs recalculation.
